The Ship NEXT series light cruiser Tama from 1944 during Operation Sho-Ichi-Go now comes with photo-etched parts.
Product Highlights:
Represents Tama as it appeared in October 1944 during Operation Sho-Ichi-Go.
Accurately reproduces the transverse linoleum decking, distinct from Kuma.
Includes special parts to replicate the canvas-covered closed state of the aft torpedo launcher openings. Funnel tops are realistically hollowed out and molded in black plastic. Features the narrow funnel design unique to certain ships of the Kuma-class, recreated with specialized parts.
Photo-etched parts enhance intricate details such as hose reels, searchlight platforms, railings, Type 21 radar, and ladders-beyond the capabilities of injection-molded parts.
Design and Assembly:
Snap-fit assembly requires no glue.
Major components are molded in pre-colored plastic, with some details reproduced using realistic adhesive decals with excellent surface conformity.
Offers the flexibility to construct either a waterline or full-hull model, thanks to part divisions at the waterline.
