Pre-colored parts faithfully reproduce the image of the ship without the need for painting.

Includes a sea base that recreates the ship sailing on the ocean, making it easy to achieve a realistic display.

Based on the ship's completion in November 1944, with remaining construction finished.
Unlike her sister ships Yamato and Musashi, dedicated parts were newly tooled to represent differences rather than reusing components.
The display base reproduces the wake from the bow, hull sides, and propellers in three dimensions.
Hull:
The hull is divided into left and right parts, with accurate detailing around the bow bell mouth.
Molded in shades of green simulating anti-submarine camouflage.
Some openings such as canvas coverings are represented with highly flexible sticker material.
Portholes along the hull are finely sculpted to show both open and closed variations.
Flight Deck:
Flight deck consists of two pieces: concrete-laid central deck and outer edges, ideal for painting.
The cement-laid section uses light gray molded parts, brighter than standard naval gray.
Bridge:
Slide-mold technology minimizes seams, with integrated parts.
Funnel and aft boat deck structures faithfully reproduced based on recent research.
Funnel / Mast / Fittings:
Funnel built from three parts; steam pipes integrated into support structure for realism.
Funnel cap grille is open, creating depth.
Bridge molded as one piece using slide-mold technology with finely detailed engravings on all four sides.
High-angle gun mounts feature striped textures, while hangar walls include monkey ladders for added surface detail.
Bonus accessories include glue-on binoculars and ammunition boxes for machine guns.
Aircraft:
Includes four aircraft types: Shiden Kai, Ryuusei, Saiun, and Ouka.
Shiden Kai comes in standard dark green and a prototype orange-yellow version.
Landing gear is molded in one piece, with optional finely detailed separate parts also provided.
Stickers and Decals:
Pre-cut stickers with excellent adhesion included for easy detailing.
Stickers include markings for canvas hull coverings, linoleum flooring, and flight deck white lines.
Additional decals included for advanced painting, such as flight deck white lines and Hinomaru markings for aircraft.
Molded in 7 colors: Kure Naval Arsenal Color, Hull Red, Black, Dark Gray, Gold, Dark Green, Clear Blue.
