Aoshima 1:700
The light aircraft carrier Ryujo, which played an active role as part of a task force and had a huge superstructure disproportionate to the hull of a heavy cruiser, is now a 1/700-scale waterline model kit from Aoshima. With a parts configuration that focuses on the essentials, it is simple and easy to assemble for accurate reproduction. Newly designed equipment such as twin machine guns, anti-aircraft guns, and aircraft catapults have been added. This kit effectively expresses the precision and intricacy of this compact scale.
This kit was made with slide molds to achieve precise and accurate molding; armaments such as destroyer main guns, machine guns, carrier-based aircraft and various equipment have also been updated. The following outfitting parts have been renewed with newly-molded parts:
