The Ship NEXT series light cruiser Kuma from 1942 now comes with photo-etched parts.
Product Highlights:
Represents Kuma as it appeared in late 1942 before its anti-aircraft armament was reinforced. Includes special parts to replicate the canvas-covered closed state of the aft torpedo launcher openings. Features unique longitudinal linoleum decking, recreated with specialized parts, contrasting the standard transverse planking of other vessels.
Comes with photo-etched parts to enhance intricate details such as funnel caps (mesh design), railings, aircraft handling derricks, navigation lights, and ladders-beyond the capabilities of injection-molded parts.
Design and Assembly:
Snap-fit assembly requires no glue. Major components are molded in pre-colored plastic, with some details reproduced using realistic adhesive decals with excellent surface conformity.
Offers the flexibility to construct either a waterline or full-hull model, thanks to part divisions at the waterline.
