This is a new product in the Aircraft Base series, which is based on the image of a naval air base where carrier-based air units rest their wings and train when the U.S. Navy's aircraft carriers return to their home ports. Aircraft, vehicle and building parts are included, as well as an airfield scene paper base, and two types of marking decals are included: Carrier Air Wing CVW-8, the carrier CVN-68 Nimitz's carrier-based aircraft unit, and CVW-15, the carrier CVN-70 Carl Vinson's carrier-based aircraft unit. This set features a 1980s naval air base with a lineup of nostalgic aircraft, including the already retired F-14.
