Vee Hobby 1:700 kit
The US Navy light cruiser Wooster was commissioned in 1948 as the first of the Wooster-class light cruisers.
After her commissioning, she was assigned to the 10th Cruiser Squadron and conducted fleet exercises in the Mediterranean and elsewhere.
When the Korean War broke out in 1950, she was engaged in escorting carrier task forces and supporting bombardment of landing forces.
Wooster was awarded two service stars for his war service in the Korean War.
