The Imperial Japanese Navy light cruiser Yubari was an experimental ship, designed to have the combat power of a 5,500-ton light cruiser with a more compact hull. Pit-Road's newest kit depicts her as she was seen during the nighttime action in the Battle of the Solomon Islands. This kit can be built as either a full-hull or waterline version.
