Aoshima 1:24
In 1982, after a 10-year hiatus, the Skyline finally returned to the circuit. Behind this revival is a passionate story.
After Nissan ceased works participation with the "Hakosuka" Skyline, Masahiro Hasegami, the representative and racer of "Hasemi Motorsports," continued racing as a privateer. He strongly wished to see the Skyline racing again and heard this from former Prince Motor Sales employees. Acting on this, he had the employees buy "Nissan Prince Dealers Club (NISSAN PDC)" stickers, priced around 1000 yen each, to fund the racing activities. The plan was to create a Group 5 racing car based on the DR30 Skyline and participate in races. This plan garnered more support than expected from Nissan's Oppama Research Center, and as a result, the Nissan works team was able to enter the Super Silhouette race.
The Skyline Super Silhouette is a miraculous car, a realization of the dreams, hopes, and future of those who love the Skyline.
