The KF51 Panther is a main battle tank developed in Germany, first revealed at the Eurosatory 2022 exhibition in June 2022.
Key Features:
The main armament is a 130mm smoothbore gun, surpassing the 120mm gun used in models like the Leopard II.
It is equipped with a 12.7mm coaxial machine gun and has an optional 7.62mm RWS (Remote Weapon Station) on the turret top.
For defense, the KF51 features the Top Attack Protection System (TAPS) and smoke grenade launchers, enhancing protection against aerial threats.
Despite its advanced armor and weaponry, the tank maintains mobility by keeping its weight relatively low.
Future development plans include the possibility of operating in coordination with unmanned turret vehicles for tactical operations.
