The Japan Ground Self-Defense Force's Type 96 Armored Personnel Carrier has been deployed since 1996; the Type B carries a 12.7mm heavy machine gun. The rear hatch can be opened and closed by partial parts replacement, and the interior is equipped with a fire extinguisher, bench, and more. Driver's seat windshield parts are included for use on public roads, and parts for the large radome are also included.
