Aoshima 1:24
The Subaru Sambar was developed with Shinroku Momose, the creator of the Subaru 360, as the chief engineer, and the first model appeared in 1961. Its cab-over style was advanced for a light truck at the time; it also had a rear engine layout that brought out stable driving and tremendous traction performance, and its four-wheel independent suspension became the Sambar's identity. Its sales concluded with the sixth generation in 2012. This model kit from Aoshima reproduces its catalog specifications, with normal 10-inch steel wheels; leisure items such as a surfboard, a rubber raft and snorkels are included.
