Pit Road 1:700
Adapted from the manufacturer:
The Caldwell was completed in 1942 -- a Benson class ship -- and entered service in the Pacific Front. Although her two smokestacks were similar to the Benson, her rear torpedo tube and third turret were removed and her anti-aircraft power strengthened to set her apart. Caldwell survived the war, after taking damage in the December 1944 kamikaze attack and hitting a mine near Brunei in June of 1945. The Caldwell was kept in service until her scrapping in 1966.
