The destroyer Amagiri is famous for colliding with and sinking the torpedo boat PT-109, commanded by future U.S. President John F. Kennedy. This kit reproduces the Amagiri's anti-aircraft equipment such as the 13mm machine gun seat added to the bridge, and the two 25mm twin machine guns on the front of the rear chimney.
