Vee Hobby 1:700 kit
Cleveland is a light cruiser of the U.S. Navy and the first of the Cleveland-class light cruisers.
She is named after Cleveland, Ohio, and is the second ship to bear that name.
Cleveland was commissioned in 1940 at the New York Shipyards and participated in the Battle of Rennell Island, the Battle of Villa Stanmore, and the Battle of Bougainville Island in 1943.
In 1944, she participated in the Mariana Islands campaign, and after the war, she supported the transportation of Allied prisoners of war from Japan, and was decommissioned in 1947.
Cleveland was awarded the Navy Distinguished Unit Citation plus 13 battle stars for his service in World War II.
The kit consists of an injection plastic body with decals for the "Standard Edition" and the "Deluxe Edition" (this product) includes the contents of the "Standard Edition" with additional etching, metal gun barrels, deck mask stickers, etc.
The kit is a wonderful reproduction of the Cleveland as it appeared in 1945 in fine detail in a marine model
