Aoshima 1:700
Aoshima's Waterline series has been renewed with even greater precision!
The ship's fittings have been carefully researched and newly designed.
By incorporating multiple slide mechanisms in the molds, the intricate details of 1/700 scale are faithfully reproduced.
Experience the Waterline series reborn with enhanced accuracy and refinement.
Originally built as a cargo ship for Kawasaki Kisen, this vessel was outfitted as a special seaplane tender in 1942 during the Pacific War.
While on transport missions, it survived two torpedo attacks by US submarines, which failed to detonate, but was ultimately sunk by bombing in May 1945.
This kit brings the Kunikawa Maru, converted into a special seaplane tender, to 1/700 scale as a plastic model.
The kit features a streamlined part structure for easy assembly while accurately reproducing key details.
Newly designed fittings include 25mm twin machine guns and aircraft catapults, capturing the precision and detail of 1/700 scale.
Slide molds achieve fine and precise surface detail.
Updated parts focusing on twin machine guns, aircraft catapults, and other fittings.
